Overview

The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and efficacy of an oral investigational drug versus placebo in adults with type 2 diabetes who are not achieving adequate glycemic control and who have moderate renal impairment. The study will last up to 60 weeks. While in the study, your study-related investigational medication, lab work and procedures are provided at no charge. If you qualify and enroll, you may be compensated for your time and travel.
