Erosive Esophagitis Research Study

The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational oral drug, versus a marketed drug, for healing in patients with erosive esophagitis (EE) and relief of heartburn and maintenance of healing of all grades of EE and relief of heartburn. The study will last up to 30 weeks with up to 6 clinic visits and 2 telephone contacts. Qualified participants will receive study-related care and study drug at no cost, and may be compensated for study-related time and travel.
